We specialise in directly addressing ‘issues’ which affect your adventures and even inhibit you from taking them on. Almost all of us have some and there are numerous examples: many are put off because they think they won’t be able to keep warm; that the risks are beyond their comfort zone or that climbing requires huge muscles. We’ve changed so many people’s perceptions of themselves & adventures that are appealing but on the fringes of their comfort zone. Many women contact us because they want to network with other women who have a passion for the mountains, and these Meets are a chance to do just that. In the daytime we make the most of the conditions & weather (and sometimes that does include cafes, indoor walls & good company in our humble opinion!). These are not guided weekends, although this time we do have some clinics going on during the weekend that you can book on to. In the evenings we cook together, try out the local pub & chat. The Black Cuillins of Skye are the most impressive, extensive & beautiful of mountain ranges in Britain. The ridge itself stretches 13 kilometres, with 20 peaks over 910 metres, 11 of which are designated 'Munros'. A traverse of these peaks involves 3,000 metres of ascent and gives breath taking views to the sea & the isles.This adventure is best done paired with a friend. Spring is a great time to go and get in tune with rock again. Cala Gonone is a perfect base for wonderful climbing of every grade and a huge variety of venues. We stay a pebbles throw from the sea. The average temperature in May is 14 to 23 degrees.This week can be used as an introduction to sport climbing, to work on your technique or to fulfil your climbing potential. This is for the munro enthusiasts amongst us. I know so many of us love a plan, but actually the best way to do these is to go weather dependent. If you've a top or two do and you'd like company or a bit of support, just let us know.The idea is for this to be sociable. So, once you suggest a peak or a date, we'll advertise that here and see who else is keen to come along. Our costs come down with more people (if there were 6 people the cost would be just £34!).
